Air Monitoring
In addition to full asbestos and hazardous material inspections, conducted by state certified inspectors, Global also performs air monitoring services.
Allowable fiber levels differ between facilities as defined by regulatory agencies and an Air Monitoring test conducted by a Global professional ensures all work is compliant with rules and regulations. An air monitoring test is the first step in protecting employees or building occupants from harmful airborne asbestos fibers.
Global offers several types of air monitoring services, including:
Ambient Air Sampling
Ambient air sampling reveals a baseline of fibers present on a daily basis. This type of sampling is selected to ensure exposures are below regulated levels and that any disturbed asbestos is not causing a health risk.
Ongoing Air Monitoring
Ongoing air monitoring is performed alongside the abatement process and ensures no loose fibers leave the containment.
Post Abatement Air Sampling/Clearance
This sampling is conducted after asbestos has been removed. These samples, taken in the area of removal, ensure that the building is safe to reoccupy.
