Sand & Mixed Media Filter

The SF-243 Sand and Mixed Media Filters are designed to enhance water quality with the removal of organic and inorganic suspended solids down to 20 microns. The SF-243 can be used as a stand-alone system for run-off, industrial processes, or waste-water filtration, or as a pre-treatment prior to other water treatment technologies. The SF-243 includes automatic backwash capabilities to allow for simple operation.

The unit is skid-mounted for easy on-site placement and includes vessels, manifolds, controller, tubing, electric solenoid valves, and a solar panel with battery power. No external power source is required for backwash operation.
